I’ve been to so many different places and on so many different excursions that I really need something special to make it worthwhile for me to leave home. Surfing around the other day I think I found it, and in one of the least likely places . . . Russia. They’re are all kinds of cool stuff you can do in Russia, that wasn’t available just a few years ago. You could for example, take some time learning to fly, and actually fly with some help real Russian jet fighters. Now that’s not something you can do in many countries. Just one of the other nice perks to the cold war ending. Personally, I’d love to fly mig jets around, even if it was just for a half hour or so. I realize, that I’d probably just be sitting in the back while the real pilot did all the flying, but that’s OK with me. Just hope I don’t lose my lunch in the process.

Of course for those of you with more tame aspirations for your adventure travel, there is always red square tours Russia to try out. The architecture there is truly fascinating, and your feet never leave the ground. I can think of a few people in my family that would probably enjoy that kind of tourist time a little more.
