An Ideal Getaway on New Jersey’s Golden Shores.I love beach vacations, but most of my beach vacations have been on the same beach along the shores of Lake Huron. I’m thinking, it would be interesting to spend time on a different beach. The Jersey shore as always sounded interesting, just because I’ve seen it in so many movies. The summer months are a popular time to go on vacation. Eager tourists are looking for the perfect spot that offers relaxation, excitement, and fun for the whole family. Stretching along the renowned Jersey Shore, Seaside Heights, New Jersey is the perfect place to find all of that.
Snuggly tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay, Seaside Heights is a tiny community of about 3000 permanent residents. During the summer number can sky-rocket to about 25,000. The community is only about .3 square miles big. In spite of its size, that tiny community has much to offer the tourist.
The most popular attraction of Seaside Heights is its beautiful beach. This shore is friendly to every variety of tourist. Whether he is seeking the adventure of the blue waters or he just wants to bask in the warm light of the sun, the tourist will never lack for something to do on that breathe-taking beach. Some of the activities to be found are relaxing in the sun, surfing, fishing, swimming, and boating. For only a small fee of five dollars per day, the tourist can enjoy the calming beach at Seaside Heights.
If the tourist is looking to get away from the beaches for awhile, then the boardwalk is the perfect place to go. The boardwalk offers a more animated rhythm than the relaxed beach. Seaside Heights has two major boardwalk piers, called Funtown Pier and Casino Pier, which nicely capture the animated rhythm. On these piers one can find carnival games, fun rides, and arcades.
Many folks vacationing in Seaside Heights stay at in one of the towns many hotels or motels. On busy summer weekends though you you might not find any rooms available. If this happens you may find a room in neighboring Seaside Park hotel.
For the tourist who enjoys the night life there is a good selection of nightclubs and bars. For example the Beach Bar is located on the boardwalk and offers live entertainment and quality Italian food.
Seaside Heights offers something for every just about any beach visitor.
